We want everyone to be able to shop with Tidelace, including people with disabilities.
Our goal
We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. To work toward that goal, we:
- use a store theme built with accessibility in mind;
- add text descriptions (alt text) to product images;
- add captions to our product and ad videos;
- check color contrast, keyboard navigation and form labels with automated tools and manual checks, and fix the issues we find;
- review new pages before we publish them.
Known limitations
Some content may not yet be fully accessible, for example third-party features (such as the signup form app) that we do not fully control. We are working on these and on our third-party providers' improvements.
We do not use accessibility "overlay" tools that claim to make a site compliant automatically.
